In some cases, we may collect data from other sources when necessary for specific processing purposes.
For a detailed overview of our processing activities, please refer to the sections below.
2.1 Website visitors
When you visit our website, we may collect certain information, such as your IP address, through cookies. These cookies help us analyze website performance, enhance user experience, and optimize our online presence. Please refer to our Cookie Policy for more details.
Data provided through our contact form (e.g., name, email, postal address, telephone number, etc.) may also be processed.
Processing is based on your consent when accepting cookies (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR) and on our legitimate interest in optimizing the website and responding to your inquiries (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
Data is retained according to our Cookie Policy and only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose.
2.2 CRM system
We use a CRM system to record and store general contact information for customers, potential customers, and business partners, including names, job titles, telephone numbers, and email addresses.
The purpose is to build and maintain professional relationships, as well as to enhance our marketing efforts, events, and other initiatives.
Processing is based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
Data is retained while the relationship is active and subsequently only if there is a legitimate reason to keep it.
2.3 Supplier relations and other business contacts
To facilitate effective cooperation with suppliers and other business contacts, we only process the personal data that is necessary for fulfilling our obligations and protecting our interests.
This typically includes general contact information.
The processing activity is based on our legitimate interest in managing our business activities (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
Data is retained for as long as there is an active relationship and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
2.4 Marketing activities
We process your personal data by sending newsletters, organize events, and provide information about our services. When engaging on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), data processing may also include publishing information such as your name and photo, but only with your explicit consent.
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your name, email address, and language preference based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting aevencomms@aevengroup.com.
Additionally, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), we may use your data for customer satisfaction surveys. If you prefer not to receive such surveys, please contact contact@aevengroup.com.
2.5 Visits to Aeven’s premises and CCTV surveillance
When you visit our premises, we collect relevant personal data such as your name, the company you represent, and if applicable, your license plate number for guest parking. This information may be collected either prior to or upon arrival.
To ensure a secure environment, we conduct CCTV surveillance in selected entrance and parking areas, as well as locations with heightened security requirements, in accordance with Danish video surveillance legislation and based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
Recorded footage is securely stored in a controlled environment and is typically deleted after 30 days, unless a security incident requires further investigation.

As a rule, we do not disclose your personal data to third parties. However, data may be shared with external service providers and data processors, e.g., IT providers, marketing agencies, and customer satisfaction survey providers, who process data solely under our instruction and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
